Please note *changes for returning to school after a positive test:

If fever free with symptoms improved after day 5, students may return to school with a *negative rapid antigen test and strict masking until day 10.

Call your school’s health room if we can assist you by providing rapid antigen COVID-19 testing.

 Please report your students positive Covid test results to Covid Central.

Covid Central is available every school day from 9am to 3pm to answer all your Covid related questions.

We are very excited to offer additional supports to help people maintain their COVID-19 isolation/quarantine. Care Connect Washington is now available in Clallam County! 

 This program offers food deliveries and financial assistance to support individuals and families through their COVID-19 isolation/quarantine period. This program helps protect our community from the spread of COVID-19 by making it easier for people to stay home while they are sick. Please help us spread the word about this free service.

 To get connected to these services, your patients and families can call the Washington Department of Health COVID-19 Hotline 1-800-525-0127.

Olympic Medical Center is doing all COVID vaccinations, including pediatric 5-11 year old vaccinations, at their Port Angeles, Front Street Clinic. There are “walk-in” days and appointments can be booked as well. More info can be found at COVID-19 Vaccine Information - Olympic Medical Center

The Clallam County Health Department is also giving COVID vaccinations to 5-11 year old’s at their Port Angeles offices every Wednesday. Parents can call 360-417-2274 to schedule one. COVID-19 Vaccine Information (clallam.net)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently created a landing page for COVID-19 vaccination for children 5-11 years of age. The page has links for different audiences, including for parents and caregivers.
